Need some local rides around staffordshire

I've recently moved near uttoxeter in staffs, i lived in cheshire near delamere forest before that which was good for local riding. I go to cannock when i can but its a 20 mile drive so looking for more local riding i can do after work on week days. Any ideas? cheers

    There's some good stuff round dimmingsdale near Alton, not too far from you. You really need to go with someone to show you though as its all just find it yourself natural stuff. Other than that, carry on down the a50 then down the 500 to hanchurch woods, but again you could do with someone to show you the way the first time.
    We sometimes get out on tuesday nights round there (although we haven't been for a while), you'd be welcome to come along.

    Cheers for that, yeah i went ti hanchurch on saturday but like you say i could with being shown around a bit but seemed good for the short ride around i had (bit icey so didn't sat long)
