Small hole on replacement magura louise lever

I've recently had to order a new magura louise lever.

I noticed it now has a samll hole level and to the side of where it says mineral.

Anyone know what this is for?

    Yes. You other lever will have one somewhere as well.

    It allows the hydraulic fluid to expand and contract as it heats up and cools down. Usually, a rubber membrane in the master cylinder of the lever seals the fluid inside the system - it's the membrane that expands and contracts.
