does anyone know what the conditions of cannock is like? both the red routes?

Was there last tuesday..

Did both loops

and it hasn't rained since..

But there was alot of ice dotted about.. But really really good considering the time of year....

Super grippy, ( apart from the greasy roots ) for February...

Quite wet now, we had a fair bit of freezing rain thursday night and it's thawing now.

Went out at 7 on friday morning, the stegasaurus was deadly thought I was going down there for sure. Also had to walk the felled section by Marquis Drive because of the ice which would have all soaked into the soil by now. Not too many puddles though.

very wet and muddy today as its thawed out. was bloody good fun though.

It's not bad at all, very rideable. We managed it fine on Kenda SB8s...

cheers angry bird. Just come back, were a few sketchy bits in the rock garden section but apart from that was very dry.

I did a lap of the Monkey last night (not a soul around.....superb ) and I was pleasantly surprised what good conditon the trails are in at the moment. This time last year it was a mud bath in some places!
