Good News 4 Dublin Cyclists

Not often the Government does something good for cyclists, but today they announced 2 bits of good news. Firstly they are spending €100,000 on a new cycle route from Malahide to Donabate, right next to the rail line. Also they want 20-25% of all traffic into the city to be cyclists by 2020. So they are getting city engineers to cycle the cycle routes to see how to improve and upgrade it as well as reducing red light times so as not to encourage the bad cyclists to break the lights.
