Frame size, which tube ?

I have been looking at road bike frame sizes, can some confirm what for example a 51cm frame size relates to ? is this the top tube or BB to seat post top.

Depends on the brand

Some will be C-C, some C-T and some top tube. The only wey to tell is to chekc the geo diagram that most put on thier web site.

For the Bianchi Via Nerone it is from centre of BB to top of seat post. Have a look at this:
