Elixir 1 or Gusset chute??? Bike shop reccomends Elixir as the better system and cheaper

i don't know about gusset chute i never used them but imo the elixirs are poo they are very wooden in feel..

are the gear shifters seperate? if yes the no issue there.
yes your rotors will work but maybe have a think about fitting a bigger rotor and adaptor to the front and reset the calipers (if the pads are shot change them as well).

never had any issues with the IO brakes, they have lasted me well, normally ride Kirroughtree so they work hard, just thought an upgrade was needed? The shifters are seperate.
So what your saying but a new rotor for the front 180?? and stick with the IO if they work ok, and put some fresh cables through them???0
