My early morning getting up idea is slowly failing me. Damn snooze button. Really need to go to bed earlier.
Not sure what today has in store for me, hopefully nothing too taxing. Then it's back off over the pennines later to stay at the parents for the weekend. M62 had better not be another huge car park, I can't be orrificed with that again!

    Innies and Outies

Just a smattering of flakes in the Kingdom of Mercia - not the four inches we were promised (the times I've heard *that* line before!).

This is good. It's a non-working day so it's off to London for a stag-night tonight and a stint Best-Manning tomorrow. Should be a giggle.

Time to finish packing and polish the speach, I think.

    Onwards!

No snow in north shropshire to chester

Today is a tired meh, due to both kids having measles. So to cheer them up later I have bought 'them' GT5, would play it with them later but out tonight with the current wife for food & a band - going to be messy

  • Morning all,

spent a few hours reading last night, only meant to read a few pages to get my tired, but got seriously hooked on it, and a few hours later was still awake. Had a nice lie in, and feeling super replinished from a stupid long sleep. Off to a party tonight, so will be getting quite drunk and fucking around in the snow. Should be good!

Always a joy to wake up to Suzanna Reid. More work and gym today, then think I might go and drink heavily

Well, not much on the cards today other than awaiting some parts for my new build which should be ready by spring
Hoping there's no more snow as it's still icy out this way and I need to travel to Brizzle tomorrow

Same over here, seemed like there was quite a bit coming down last night but only cars and plants got covered, the roads are completely clear.

Anyhoo, school's out for half term so today will be mostly helping out on kid-related activities, ho hum. But it's birthday weekend coming up and I've got a good night out sorted for tomorrow

FFS image shack are at it now
You have 1273 photos stored. Since you're over the 500 photo limit you'll need to upgrade to a Premium account or you'll only be able to keep 500 of your recent photos. Older photos will expire on the 1st of March.

time to host them myself i think.

10 days of work! Time for some shopping I think!
  • Mehning homos.

Setback today. Spoke to my surgeon who has informed me it would not be repsonsible of him to let me start weight bearing on the leg until he's had chance to see me. Means I've got to wait another 12 days with no weight on it.

The good news however, is that once he's seen me, I can start absolutely hammering the recovery.

I should be able to go from no weight bearing, to no crutches required within 2 weeks of seeing him (I'm aiming for a week). Then should be able to get rid of the leg brace 2 months after that (I'm going for 1 month).

    Afternoon bumders

Morning of lectures telling us how to put bones back together by sticking bits of metal in them. Just what you need with a hangover.

    GoPro ordered.

Dissection this afternoon then some bolting bones together after that.

This evening will be relaxing and lazy.

either that or they're trying to work out whether or not it is actually a gift worth $3, or decide to charge tax on the actual value. Just hope the guy checking rides an Orange 5.

I've had a top week of Ski Racing in Ruhpolding, Bavaria. Had 3 Giant Slalom races (seeding, individual and Team). I came 13th in this mornings run and about 8th (tbc) in this afternoons run (out of 169). I'll get the final combined times and my position tonight at the team captains meeting but I've been bouncing about like Tigger on speed since I broke into the top 15!

Tonight we're going to go smash up Ruhpolding and drink until dawn before recovering for another week of racing (slalom and super giant slalom).

There are times when I love my job and 3 weeks skiing is one of the perks, and I get paid for it!

Still, I bought these to go on it today, when it actually gets here...mmmmm

night out fail - kids too ill :(
  • Ok, question time.

You've got £750 in vouchers to spend on a short (4-5 day) MTB holiday. You have to go between Aug and Sep.
    Where do you go?
(you can't do the guided holidays like flow etc)
