Hi All
I am not very mechanically minded at all when it comes to my bike so bear with me if silly or easy questions!
Basically I have an Orange Patriot which I have set up for XC, when riding recently I can hear some knocking noises, been P'ing me off for ages lol anyway last night I figured what it was! when I move my back wheel from side to side it knocks! I have taken the wheel out and tightened the bolts (by hand) but now the wheel doesnt spin particularly well at all!

Secondly when I had my new forks fitted the other day I pressed the brake lever when the front wheel was out and now thats rubbing quite a lot as well.

Any ideas on either of the above would be much appreciated

Wheels - cones need adjusting properly - see Parktools for how to. You adjust the cones and then tighten up the locknuts.
Brakes - should self adjust but you could take the wheel out and push the pads back a bit.
