Birmingham to Ross On Wye

Hi there,

I'm looking at doing a charity ride (Mountain Bike) with a few mates from Birmingham to South Wales.

Does anyone have any info on potential routes for the Birmingham to Ross-On-Wye leg?
We are quite happy with getting from Ross down to South Wales but would welcome any information/tips on the first part of the journey.

    You've got the canal straight out of Brindley Place down to Worcester, about 30 miles I think.
    I'm not sure about south of wWorcester though, but its a start.

    How long is the trip? and how long do you think you can travel each day? Do you want bridleways ect or would you prefer road and then stop at the fun stuff and play for a day
