  • thats going to be a great bike ! my scott addict with force and ritchey finishing kit weighs 16.25Lbs including pedals with crappy WHR500's on it !! and its a 58CM frame
    Britannia waives the rules
  • As a fellow Scott Addict rider thats going to be a great bike I cannot believe how light these things are. Even with 50mm Durace Carbon clinchers its still light. Enjoy it will be ace. I wanted those pedals on mine!
  • i like the crank bros quattro 4 Ti ones , they are light and easy to use but the cleats are heavy so not a real weight loss lol

After your recent performances up the hills Rozzer I would have plumped for a triple.......

Yes I think the lack of training was the main reason for my lagging. Maybe I should go for a compact. Would still be able to out sprint you with a 50 ring on the front ;)

Well the build is finally finished. Will post some pics up tomorrow. I'll warn you now there is a lot of steerer showing. But only because I'm off to see Mr Timmis at Cadence Sport next month. Will be chopped down as soon as my fit is done :)

Steerer will be sorted once I have had my fit with Adrian next month. Still need to fit the Look pedals but going to wait for my fit so I can get the right wedges for my cleats, as I only have speedplay ones. Also gone for a set of Q rings so will see how I get on with them.

Looking forward to feedback about those. Considering a set for my Cervelo.

Apologies for the loooooooonnnngggg time for an update.

Well I've gone back to round rings. Did the Q rings make a difference? Erm I can't say I noticed any. But I did notice the drop in shifting performance. A couple of times it over shifted and a number of times it was a like a monkey trying to flick the chain wearing boxing gloves. So I went back to round rings. Has my performance dropped? I can't say it has, or if there is any difference then I certainly haven't noticed it. But the big improvement is the front shifting. Would I go back to Q rings? Erm probably not, although if I did I would probably only do so if using an electronic groupset as the front shifting is supposedly that much better.

Would be interesting to see how the oysmetric rings compare to Q rings.

nice bike, ive had one for a year now and riding it is bliss. :D
watch the pedals as my blade carbon ti's scraped a curb and nearly totally removed the spring seat on the underside.
its just a matter of time before they go now
    speedplay next i think

I used the looks for like 5 rides then went back to speedplay. Will never use anything other than speedplay now.

I have the Keo Blade Ti sitting in the storeroom too. I only use Speedplay Zero Ti on all my bikes now. Nothing else comes close to the Speedplays.
