I've searched high and low for a pair of size 38-39 uk5 boots, like Northwave Fahrenheits... any one know of any? Mrs. monkeycowboy needs a pair.

  • You need to get in at the beginning of the season. Most of the Northwave stock is on pre order by retailers so there is very little free stock available. The Northwave distributor is down to single figure stock but the sub 40s are all gone. Shimanos' winter boots only seem to go down to 40s

I have Mavic Frosts which I like but deliberately got them as they weren't too insulated (need to wear a thin overshoe with them if it gets really cold) so not sure if they're the sort of thing you're looking for, CRC web-site suggests they might be able to get small sizes in. http://www.chainreactioncycles.com/Mode ... tedKingdom

I have a pair of Gaerne Winter road boots - size 39 surplus to requirements - they have a regular 3-hole cleat fitting. They aren't Goretex but have a thermal lining with extended water resistant upper with zip-up front - like an integrated overshoe that comes over the ankle. They are little used as they are a little too tight for me - prepared to let them go for £30 including shipping to UK. PM me for photos / if interested.
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..
