bigger BB's in worn hub??

Hi,

my girlfriends front hub has decided to die in the last week or so.

Basically the old bearing have filled with rubbish and worn the inside casing. So the new bearing i put in wont stay in as there is now room for play. Can i put slightly bigger BB's in or do i need a new wheel?

    Replace the cones and the races.

    The races are only a press fit. Buy another hub that is the same and rescue it.

    Or buy a new wheel.

    Bigger bearings don't work.
