Hi, firstly apologies if not the best forum for this question, secondlyany help appreciated.

I've used photobucket for a couple of years loading a few hundred pics. A couple of months ago something changed and I can no longer upload pics, in fact I can't see how too. Has this happend to anyone else?
Being a technophobe probably something simple. Any help welcome and appreciated, thanks, alan

The upload button is on the big blue banner that has home and albums on it.

If it's not there and you are definatly logged in try making sure you have flash installed. The uploader uses flash but I'm not sure if you need it or can still upload without it.

Hi suzyb, many thanks for response, yeh that's what I've been doing [as I always used too] my problem is at the next stage.
It then says upload from, my computer, mobile etc

I have always uploaded from my memory card via a USB Sigma connection.

I usually do it [or always did] so I didn't upload loads and loads of pics on my computer.

As I previously said I never had any problems until a couple or three monts ago approx. Something changed.

I want to put some things up for sale but it's become a stumbling block.

    Many thanks for reply

But if you select upload from 'My computer' it opens a file browser so you can just navigate to your memory card.

Hi, thanks for that but when I select 'upload' from my browser it give a few drop down options but no browser to navigate to card, As I said I'm not the most technical and may be I'm missing something simple.

Just can't understand it. What am I missing
This has also confused me as I originally listed this in Road Beginners, now it's jumped to Cake Stop!!

Does the menu on the left say "Upload from: My computer"? If so then you click the big green button that says "Select Photos and Video" and you'll then get a regular file browser that'll allow you to select your memory card. If what's displayed on your browser sin't as above then sorry, can't help you.

That'll be why I forgot about it until I remembered when I went to photobucket to upload something

What browser are you using? Have you installed any add ons or anything.

When I click the Upload button I get this

    Capture-3.jpg

If you're not getting the big green select button it would suggest something is stopping the flash from working.

That's just a link to anyone's Photobucket account, and mine's working on that link. Try rejoining?

That link will just take anyone following it to the photobucket homepage as they will not be logged in as you.

What is it you are seeing when you visit that link you posted. You should afaik get the page in my previous screen grab.

How to add images to your posts
First you need to host the image somewhere on the net.

    common hosts are

    http://www.imageshack.us/
    http://www.flickr.com/
    http://photobucket.com/

Please read their Terms and conditions regards linking and hosting.

some sites provide code for you to add to your post, or you can copy the images properties and paste that between the img tags provided by the img box above the reply window.

    for example this picture

    http://mos.bikeradar.com/images/news/20 ... 280-80.jpg

that is the properties of the image. now put it between the img tags and you get.

Make sure you are actually linking an image file. IE. .jpg or .gif or .png etc.

Hi suzyb, I'm getting exactly the same as the one you posted earlier ---- but mine doesn't have the big green tab UPLOAD PHOTOS AND VIDEOS
    I used to have it

Thanks for the last posting but isn't relevant to my problem.

As previously stated I always loaded pics onto photobucket [still over 300 on there] I also loaded a lot on to bikeradar [40 or 50] so I'm not new to it all but something has changed. I have googled it and it seems there have been a few problems, I followed a suggestion and it simply lost everything [netwise]. I have also sent a question to photobucket which they have acknowledged but haven't answered yet.
