Hi, i live about an hour and a half from Sherwood pines, yet it's the closest mountain bike center where i live. Been a few times and had seen the trails improving quite a bit, it's been around 8 months since i last went and i was just wondering how much more improvement there has been. So to any locals too Sherwood, what's it like "nowadays"?

They have done quite a few trail improvements just lately, and seem to still be working on bits and pieces. Some of the bigger corners full of braking bumps have been redone with hardcore, there are a few new twists and turns in old trail and a couple of new sections all together. You now come to a fork just before the downhill/dirtjumps. Keep to the right and you will head down a series of hardcored berms alongside the downhill trail, and pop out at the bottom.
It's worth a look if you havent been for a while, if only because you havent been for a while0 -
Cheers for that. I seem to remember a fair few good bits here and there, but it was after every good bit there was always a really badly eroded stretch of track. Good to hear stuff has been done anyway. When one's in the east of Lincolnshire one can't be too picky!
One more little thing, i seemed to hear about there being some Northshore "somewhere". But the times I've been I've had no luck in finding it. Is there any about? And if so where?0 -
Top & middle in the 'DH' area, it's not up to much tho.
The Pines has improved quite a bit over the past 8 months, not much new trail but surfacing works to the existing have made if flow well0 -
There is a 'members only' DH track at Market Rasen that I get to from time to time... Hard to believe it's possible isn't it0
