Morning Stinkers!

Good night's sleep last night, probably helped by the couple of pints in the pub after work. Was meeting up with Hot Librarian, and as I was ordering from the bar, heard my minions voice calling my name! Of all the pubs in Leeds, I picked the same one she was going into. That's going to raise some questions today.

So, work today, then more sleep is needed I think, as I'm knackered still.

  • Morning all,

terrible sleep, as bed broke in the middle of the night, leaving us sleeping at very acute angles, which was very uncomfy. Lots of snow today, so wife has forbidden me from riding to the stores on the moped which means a half hour walk each way, not reallly bad, but I think i'll take the ped anyway.
  • No broken beds this time.!!!???? FFS

And that's about it - se you later.

  • What can I say, i'm still a bit fat ;)

Nick, I feel your pain, we are having a "warm" day today, sitting at a nice -9 with windchill of -13. I never thought I would ever be happy to say thank god it's -9 out.

Nearly went over putting the bin out. Nearly went over heading to the car. Nearly went over in the carpark at work, twice.

It's *definately* one of those days!

    'sup pantytheives?

Work continues at a million miles an hour, but there is an end in sight. Either that or I can see myself moving on. Needed the car for work so another day without riding in (but given the state of the place, I think I may have dodged the bullet on that one!).

Still, it's a short week for me so Friday can be spent hunting tasty noms in the Capital followed by destroying the Groom in Camden. Heh heh.

    Onwards! To tea!

    Morning Gits,

Snow almost gone here in the subtropical South East. I'm off into town to stick some cheques in the bank and get hair chopped off: then it's time to do a bit of T-cutting the car to try & get rid of the white scrape mark some twunt left on it a while back. Will also head down to my favourite coffee house in the afternoon to chill out and read a bike mag :-)

  • Morning homos.

Got another quote in MBUK again this month. 3rd month running I believe. Much more of this and I'm going to start drawing a salary. I must have more column inches (fnar fnar) than Supersonic ;)

They still didn't put my picture of my stapled leg in the "that's gotta hurt" section though. They chose some dude with a grazed head instead. pfffff.

Working again today. Should actually be able to get finished at 5 today though, rather than the 8 it has been of late.

Also going to check with my surgeon to see if he will allow me to try weight bearing on this leg a couple of weeks early.

    Morning bumders

Lazy uni day today thank god, got a shed load of work to catch up with, so in an ideal world I'd be sitting in the library working away.

In reality I'll be sitting in front of a computer occasionally writing a few words, watching bike videos on youtube and looking at jump bikes on fleabay. Standard really.

  • Yawnin' Maggots!

Home again today, got stuff to do, like await the delivery of a new Mac keyboard after my can of Coca~Cola killed the wireless one off on Sunday.
Still cold here and the snow's turned into mounds of ice making any journey by foot or car a perilous one.

Well, I am going to be dressing warm and consuming cups of tea today.. and trying to keep busy

    Day off, suns shining, win.

Gonna go attempt to ride that thing with wheels that lives in the corner of the spare room.

  • Work today so far has been absolute sh*t. People making formal complaints about a system that has since been updated!
I need a holiday, now, rather than in 3 weeks time.

    Not a good day.

  • :? Lazy day for me today. Woke at 12 as im in work tonight. 3 meat pies and a beefsteak pie and choco cookie provided by Mother for brunch! went down faster than it took to get out the bag. Sorted my bike out and washed my gear as Im planning on Healey Nab and Rivi after work tomoz.

Still contemplating also if its a worthwhile thing in getting rid of my motorbikes which put a smile on my face during the none snowy months and being bent over with insurance to be warm in a car, but bored and jealous of motorbikes in the summer. :?:
