Santa Cruz Superlight Frame

Opinions? I do alot of XC riding, and looking for a reasonably priced full sus frame.

Compared to other frame only prices it is not too bad. Compared to full build it starts to look expensive though! Is often better to buy a whole new bike, put on the parts you want and sell of the excess.

Frame weighs about the same as the Superlight, is a 100mm xc based platform. But the whole bike is cheaper than just the frame! Sure the shock is more basic, but an easy upgrade, and in my opinion, is a better frame.

But if it is a light, frame only, single pivot design you want with short travel, then not much else out there.

go for the nickel,,

having owned a heckler for 3 years then a butcher for 12months, and the superlight and nickle sharing the same single pivot desings i would say the app is slightly better,,

though i could not fault my single pivot heckler was amazing... if the superlight is aything like it's big brother it to will be an amazing bike..
