Anyone staying up for the Superbowl tonight?
I've got the beer sitting outside in the snow chilling, big bags of nachos and hot dog ready for half time!
As for result I think Giants will win late in 4th quarter.

I may watch it for a bit and if it grabs me, I'll stay up to watch it all.

I say the above just about every year and usually end up watching the whole thing. I don't even know who are playing. Yankees Vs Twins isn't it?

It's growing on me, but I can't sit through a whole match live. Too long.

Highlights showing 80% of the plays with none of the faff inbetween are king for me.

Will probs watch the first quarter and call it a night.

Yeah, thats what I usually say.

Then its "I'll watch the 2nd quarter and go to bed"

Then its "Well, might as well watch the half time show"
By then I've been sucked in a bit and think "I'm over the hump now, I'll watch the 3rd quarter and see how it goes"

Then its a small thing to watch the 4th quarter.

I was wrong earlier, its Yankees Vs Bulls, right?

Yeah, I used to play. Left field for the Totteridge Trailblazers many, MANY years ago.

Isn't that equivalent to a nights sleep with American football?

If they get a grand slam home run, its 'game on'!

The Yankees have scored a six just before the end of the innings and now I'm going to bed.
    I think I'll Sky+ the rest though.

  • Stayed up and watched it and made it in on time for work! Pretty good game, right down to the wire! Also impressed with the Jerome Simpson touchdown that they showed as the BBC coverage.

Afraid not, been kicking myself about it.

    Great game though
  • That's the first time I've ever seen anybody deliberately try to not score, seemed a bit risky they could still have been pushed back and had the FG blocked. Very tense ending though, enjoyed it thoroughly.

Go Red Sox!!!! Next year eh?
