Shimano XT brakes

Im going to buy a new set of the Shimano XT brakes. How easy will it be to swap hoses over and shorten? I understand this can be achieved without having to bleed the brakes after.

    Ver easy. Just follow the (very easy) instructions.

    Yes they do. Got mine from Rose the other day :)
