handlebar stem query

I would like a slightly higher position at the front, spacers all used and don't want to buy new forks, wouldn't trust an adjustable one neither.
Option left would be to flip my stem which is reversable but quite a steep angle, too much.
So, are there any stems that have a slight upward rise, need a one inch jobbie too, or with a shim to suit.

stems are out there with a range of angles 6-8 degrees seems the norm, but I have seen as high as 20 degrees

  • thanks I didn't know the degrees, not even sure what my existing angle is, the stem is an Outland from a few years ago, can't find same on google, might just have to order one or two.

Get one of these. You can adjust the angle.
wouldn't trust an adjustable one neither.
Don't worry. These are as strong as any standard stem and you have to look close to see it is adjustable.

Or just whack your existing stem on now. If its too high, take a spacer out, refit stem and continue until correct handle bar height achieved then trim down fork steerer.

For fine tuning, swap 10mm spacers for 5mm, if you need to frther fine tune get 2.5 mm spacers (can you get these?) or cut 5mm in half (mark up cutting height, put in vice, get fresh sharp hacksaw blade, cut to desired height, sand off rough edges, fit).

other thing is I am not 31.8 neither.
I'm guessing from the picture that specialized has some sort of wedge shim to adjust the angle ? if so clever 8)
