Ironic - the council gritting wagon has just slid through the pizza shop at the top of Droitwich High Street's window!

    Priceless!

How's that ironic? Surely it would be ironic if it had slid into a snow-tyre outlet or something...

The fact it was the salting (they don't actually grit any more) lorry on (presumably) unsalted roads is ironic in my mind.....

I see, I was reading too much into the pizza shop part of the story. There is obviously irony in the gritting lorry crashing, but I was looking for more.

    I'm disappointed.
