80mm 31.8mm polished stem?

Is there such a thing as an 80mm 1/18" 31.8mm polished stem? Mrs monkeycowboy has a 100mm stem on her bike and finds the reach a little too long. I realise fitting a shorter stem may affect the handing, but until we take the plunge and get a new bike for her we want to see how she gets on with the shorter stem...

how about a 90mm track stem and flip it up to shorten the reach...

Why not just buy the cheapest 31.8 80mm stem you can and see what you think? When I was mucking about with stems I went out and bought some cheapos on ebay, found the right reach and then bought a decent one knowing it would be right. You could always flog the cheapo stems back on ebay so you won't be out of pocket, or keep them for next time.
