TFI Friday!!

Morning Morons!

Last night was epic. Hot Librarian was on form, did a lot of driving, sang some stupid rehearsal for a stupid concert I'm in (for Help the Heroes, shame it's rubbish music!).

Today, I think I have a good amount of work on. Not too much, but enough to keep me sane. Hopefully it will be a good one. This will depend on whether the tinitus that's developed in my ear overnight decides to leave me....

Laters!

    Feckers,
Yesterdays drive too and from the worst midlands has left my shoulders aching really badly and my legs feel like they've run a marathon? i think it must be tension. I have discovered a new trend also, it turns out if you feel like your car is going to break down the place to take it is motorway roadworks, that way you get it towed away for free and you get to meet some lovely passers by who want to chat to you through their windows!

Looking forward to the weekend where i will be baking cakes with the little ones during the day saturday, enjoying peace and quiet in the evening as the wife is out then a long ride sunday! :coolbeans:

Today will mostly be spent in a secure box with no windows ignoring engineers.

    Morning Scuttlers

Today I'm off to learn routes again, dunno where yet, but think it'll be POETS day today as I need to finish roofing shed 2 and bleed my brakes for a bash at FOD on Sunday.

Yesterday was an odd day, after 3 weeks waiting, my city rig turned up, I have christened it Farnsworth. The big news of the day was that Mrs G walked out of her job. The place she worked 2 of the Directors daughters worked there, one of them complained to her Dad that a lad that started working there in january walked funny (he is a practicing homosexual) When he found out she had made such a complaint he asked he why she couldn't have come straight to him and not tittle tattled to her dad. Because of it everyone in the place started blanking her so she kept launching into this lad, crying that she felt bullied, denying she'd said anything. The crux is her dad came in and demanded this lad be sacked, called Mrs G and her boss incompetent because he wasn't dismissed straight away and then accused MRs G of being menntally ill!!!!, After that his wife phoned up to have a go anyway it all snowballed. Mrs G then found out about over 10 other staff had been sacked because of tales his daughters had told. So she told him some truths about the way he ran his business and that his meddling was running it into the ground, that his daugters were being carried by the rest of the team as they were lazy and that the manager couldn't manage as she had her hands tied, then quit, followed by two other staff who told him that he had left the most professional manager they had ever had had just been forced out. So looks like she's going back to supply teaching, but the business model is something we are seriously going to look at investing into ourselves as she really enjoyed the job.

    Anyway, rant over!!

Good on her, hope she gave him a slap at the same time!
Been in a position like that, i worked with two sons who could do no wrong, i was never going to win an argument or move up the company, i was only young though so i moved on without too much of an argument, but wish i had.

  • Good morning homos.

Today I should hopefully FINALLY be getting my growth plans signed off for my business units. It's only 3 months late, but hey-ho.

It'll be a late finish tonight too as I'm still catching up on the 3 weeks I missed post-op.

To make up for this, I think I'm going to order my I9 wheelset, although I have already been advised it'll not be built for about 6 weeks. (2 week build time plus they have to special order the orange hubs/spokes).

Sorry to hear that. Can I suggest a few things:
    Ditch.
    Head.
    Backwards.
    Then hookers.

    Morning bumders

Got a lecture today, should be good, turns out this term is going to be fairly interesting. Had a decent dissection yesterday cutting a dog's leg to bits before ripping it out it's socket. So after the lecture some time will be spent going through the photos seeing which ones will cause the most disgust on facebook.

Then I'm off to the aunt's for the weekend. Comfy bed, free food, get to see the baby cousin. Sorted.

    Mornin' All,

I'm just about to get all my arctic gear together for a trip down to Bedgebury - a lap or two of the singletrack and a play on the dirt jump section (nothing to write home about but better than nout). That should keep me occupied for most of the day. Then lazy evening recovering in front of the box I reckon.

With any luck I shall be doing this within the next two weeks. I will take great pleasure in telling somebody where to shove it, the reasons behind telling them where to shove it, and the building I will soon be looking after.

  • Greetings Maggots,

Today started with a call from a work colleague who will be in my neck of the woods today, so off to The Galleries for coffee later. May just pick me up an Android phone wile out there. Not that I need one, I just want one.
Not too much on the cards today, so getting out for a few hours will be a constructive way of passing the day away.

My cat's gone mental, he's meowing and running up and down like a banshee. He must have the Friday feeling.

Wishing you all a fast passing Friday

Well, carbon bars and spacers just turned up, feel so nice, so going to mount them soon, and see how they are.

Hopefully no financial or statutory records in there. 'My boss told me to burn it' doesn't work with the HMRC or HSE.

Common interests should be breathing. Although I'm not too fussy about that one either.
