Seriously thinking about ordering a 2011 Kona Caldera through CRC for £600 which seems a cracking deal to me with the kit it's got.......but first a couple of questions;
1) I'm approx 6'1" - 6'2" and the largest frame CRC have is 19", will this be ok for me?
2) Has anyone got any feedback regarding purchasing bikes through CRC
3) Any Caldera riders out there want to fill me in on how the bike rides etc...

cheers 8)

    will probably be ok, but more to do with your inside leg and reach rather than height

  • I have a 2010 caldera 18" frame. Im 6 foot and it is fine for me. Mine had a short stem of around 50mm, not so great but am waiting for delivery of my new 90 mm stem which should be better. Mine has reba race dual air forks which are superb and worth the upgrade. Brakes on mine are a bit of a nightmare (Hayes el camino) but I think the newer model ditched them. I'm chuffed with mine which handles like an xc bike but I mainly use it for light trial riding. I find it very light too but this may be down to the upgrades I have made. Bottom line, bomb proof kona frame with decent kit.
    No experience with buying bikes from crc I'm afraid.
