Can't find this anywhere - can't find an archive for the older 170mm Torque frame on their website. Thought it was 34.9, but this is too small. Hope clamps larger than this seem to state they are brand specific, Klein etc. Anyone know what the size is?

Measure the circumference of the seat tube with a tape measure and divide by 3.14I don't do smileys.

Tis a very good idea. Seems to comeout as I expected - 35mm (or 34.9). Still can't get the collar on despite stretching it open with a screwdriver. I think the collar might be ovalised so I'll go at it a bit more this weekend. I'm pretty sure it's the right size... Just refuses to go on.0

You should perously the canyon torque thread from my sig and see why that approach might not be the best for this particular fitting problem0

It will be tight due to the paint, a factory painted frame will be around 40-60microns film thickness a home painted frame could be double that (or less if a bad finish)0

it will go on my chromag one on my chromag frame was like this i thought it's never gonna fit i to had the screw driver in to pry it (the clamp) open still would not go on..
like ally said it will be the paint. i managed to wiggle mine on with a 12lb sledge hammer only joking
by twisting it side to side and hitting it with the plam of my hand...

I'll have another go tonight, but even with prising it open it won't go on. Yet the tube and clamp measure 35mm. (or 43.9). The clamp doesn't look as circular as the tube it's going on so I'll prise it open with three screwdrivers and mash it down. Pics of the build this weekend fingers crossed!0
