The RC2 isn't listed on Fox' website but on the Rose site they list Fox RC2 2012 as an upgrade option (for the Beefcake) as well as the RC4 or the (fitted as standard) Van RC
Can anyone shed any light on the two DHX models?
Thanks.

hmm, OK. Anyone know the differences between the two though. Is the RC2 just the OEM version of the RC4?"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

the number refers to the amount of different adjustments the shock has. (click the link and you will see) The RC2 only has low speed compression and rebound damping. The RC4 has low speed compression, high speed compression, rebound damping and bottom out control. And obviously you have the spring preload and air pressure (not entirely sure what the air pressure does, changes the progression of the damping maybe?)
But yes, the RC2 looks as if it's OEM only.0 -
OK looks like the air pressure on the RC2 is for bottom out control. Maybe the Van RC doesn't have this?"Why have that extra tooth if you're not using it?" - Brian Lopes

A Van RC with a custom tune for your bike will probably be as good as an RC4, to be honest. Just without all the confusing dials etc (unless you're a serious racer, set and forget is always better, IMO).0
