replacing sora/fsa with sram

a relative is able to get sram components directly from the distributor at a good discount and owes me a favour. i was thinking of upgrading my shimano sora/fsa components to sram but need a bit of advice.
do i need to do it all in one go? for example, can i fit a sram chainset to the existing bottom bracket, or do i need to get a new bb? i don't know what bb is currently fitted, but the bike has a fsa tempo triple chainset. will this work with the existing front and rear derailleur, or do i have to change them at the same time? i want to go from a triple to a double chainset. i think i may need to change the front derailleur at the same time, but what about the rear?
and what about the gear shifters? i have a flat bar and sram sell them, but can i use the existing shimano shifters until i can afford the sram? i'm going to be keeping 9 gears on the back but will probably want to be changing the ratio slightly. and would i need a new chain?
any help would be appreciated

The chainset often comes with the bottom bracket included so replace those together. SRAM use the Truvativ GXP fitment BB's so i doubt your FSA would work anyway
Also, i'd say replace shifters and both mechs together, although you may get away with your existing front mech. Cassette and chain should work fine with either shifter / mech combo.
Often the best deals are on full groupsets so i'd personally look to do this if you can0 -
so i can get the chainset and b first and use them with the 9 speed sora rear mech?0
