Suntour XCR LO Service and Removal Help

I am looking at upgrading my fork, but I wouldn't mind this one working for the time being. It has started seizing up and acting like its locked out about 20 mins into every ride so I'm planning on taking it apart to clean it out. Is it as simple as removing the lowers, cleaning and re-lubing? Also what should I use to re lube it? I have Brunox Deo Fork Lube, will that do? I'm just worried about wrecking something when I take it apart - I've never done anything like it before!
It is an XCR LO I believe (http://www.srsuntour-cycling.com/dstore ... 26%27.html)

EDIT: I tried dropping the forks out of the frame but the steerer wont budge. I've removed the stem, topcap, spacers and rubber seal. I was under the impression that after a few whacks it would drop out. I'm using a semi-integrated headset (as standard). I don't have a workstand so I thought it would be easiest to remove the fork.
Any help would be much appreciated, thanks0 -

I'll give it another go tomorrow. Just don't want to break anything! I'm using a bit of wood and a hammer, just keep hitting it until it falls out?0

Try a sharp hard whack. They should just drop out though, but if you've removed the stem there's nothing actually holding them except friction.I don't do smileys.

I had the same problem removing my Suntour forks, the top race was jammed on the steerer which had corroded slightly so just whack it until it drops out. Once out it should be fairly easy to undo the foot nuts to remove the lowers then you can clean and lube them before reassembling.0
