Tyres like Big Bettys, only better

Afternoon all. The Voltage came with Schwalbe Big Betty tyres - wire bead 2-ply Snakebites, 2.4 Trailstar front and Vertstar rear. These tyres have been absolutely awesome for their intended purpose but the time has come to replace them and I wondered what the alternatives are.
Things I like about the Bettys:
* grippy - it matters not whether it's wet or dry, hardpack or mud, they hang on in there
* tough - no pinch flats
* big (tall & wide like tractor tyres)
What could I get that would offer more of the same? Was idly thinking about 2.5 DHFs and/or 2.4 HRIIs but I don't know whether they would be gnar enough.
No trail bike tyres please =]

look at the other Schwalbes at 2.4 wide.
but why not the same again? what would you like to change? (they do do them in folding)."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

I had Big Bettys in gluey wotsit compound on the DH bike. They were pretty epic.
As Nick said though, what was it you are looking to improve on?
For a DH bike, muddy mary are a bit good too0
