I`ve bought a middleburn middle chainring and it doesn`t fit my FSA cranks so, do I just take it back to the shop, 40 miles round trip, or do I file the 1mm off each arm so it does fit?
If I do will it conspire to kill me? the bloody thing fits where the outer ring goes perfectly

if you want one that fits correctly you will need an FSA one.
Most people file the ring."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

File the ring, it's what we did on the Daughters when we made it one-by at the front using an old steel ring....she now has an EnvY ally ring.

I think I`ll file my crank, my ring appears very hard! Or is it worth the effort? My 2012 Cube LTD http://www.bikeradar.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=128035930
