a nissan qashquai + 2 or a VW touran?
they're pretty equal on fuel consumption and co2 :?
What trim levels?
I went for a Qashqai as it has a lot more toys for the money. The Touran I could have had for the same money is very basic.“Life has been unfaithful

Giant Trance 2 27.5 2016 ¦ Sonder Broken Road 2021¦ Giant Revolt Advanced 2 2019 ¦ Giant Toughtroad SLR 1 2019 ¦ Giant Anthem 3 2015 ¦ Specialized Myka Comp FSR 20090 -

that's what one of the guys has said, that the nissan comes with loads more toys as 'standard'. the thing is that i'm not sure if i can spec the car. it may be a case of just getting the basic model :?0 -

can you take an allowance instead ?
i get the choice between a £5k allowance or the choice, car wise, between an Audi A4 TDi or BMW 320D
i took the money and bought my own car
that allowance works out at £400 pm (pre-tax)
you could lease the Nissan for £250pm (my Wife has one and despite my hatred for all things 4x4, its quite good to drive, with loads of space) leaving you cash to spare and no worries about extra company car tax0 -

Had several company cars back in the day when they really were a perk.
Nowadays they just cripple you on the tax, unless your very carefull about emmissions etc
Unless your doing stupid mileage, and if it's possible, opt out and go for a car allowance, you should then find yourself quids in (and you pretty much get yourself a new car, paid for by your company)
