Hello, I'm new to the forum, recently bought my first full sus.
Question is I'm looking to purchase a gamut dual bash and chain guide but there seems to be soo many types, I've got 3 front rings and am looking to get rid of the 3rd one which is 42t, so would I need 36- 42 bash ring or a smaller one to match my middle ring whis is 32t?
Thanks in advance

What ring do you actually want to get rid of and why?0

if your new "big" ring is 32T then that is the bash size you need."Do not follow where the path may lead, Go instead where there is no path, and Leave a Trail."

Would a 36t fit? And I'm really after a gamut one if possible. Thanks anyway0

Fit what and why the gamut?
Personally I'd just leave the whole setup as is, much cheaper and gives you a greater range of gears to use should you wish.0 -
Depending on what size chainring you choose in the end, you're probably looking for a Gamut P20 (32-34t) or a P30 (34-36t) bash. They do some alu ones too, which I think are the G25 and G35. Most of them are about 40% off in the CRC sale just now.0

I run a Gamut P30 dual on my 5 (see sig) but with a 36 middle ring, if I'm not mistaken they are designed to be used with 34 - 36t rings.
If your running a 10 speed setup with an 11-36 cassette then a 36 middle will give you a good spread of gears.0
