Thanks for a well organised ride today in excellent weather, though my impression was that the turnout was less than previous years. I was pleased to finish, after last year having to abandon after 7 miles due to snake bite punctures front and rear - yes 4 punctures in one incident!

I've done all the Chiltern Classics rides except the Hemel one and the Willesden has my vote as the hardest due to the hills and the distance - I clocked 71 miles. Hope to do the new CC Luton course next week.
  • Glad you enjoyed it Alan. We were blessed with fine weather although the wind on the way out was a little draining.
You're right, numbers were down on previous years and if anyone has any ideas why I'd be keen to know.
  • Oh, and by the way, the Hemel event has been re-scheduled for 4th March.
