Race Face Evolve XC Chainset

Hi all

What are your opinions on a Race Face Evolve XC Chainset in comparison with an XT chainset? The riding will be mostly XC and is fitted to a hardtail.

Is it worth getting or am i better off with an XT?

Constantly trying to upgrade my parts.It is a long road ahead as things are so expensive for little gain. n+1 is always the principle in my mind.

    XT is excellent. Deore or SLX are probably better value.

    My Ramones came with a RF Evolve 24/36 + bash it's pretty good.

    The quality is a bit workmanlike compared to XT but it works fine and is completely unobtrusive. It's big, tough & burly though probably not the best choice for a svelte XC bike

    Shimano are near impossible to beat on cranks. I'd never choose RF unless it was vastly cheaper.
