'Save a draft' - Why?!

As a user who regularly checks the forum on a smartphone, I often accidentally click the 'save a draft' button instead of 'submit'.
Does anyone actually use the save a draft facility? If you save something and come back to it later on a thread the content of that thread will have changed somewhat from your point, so I struggle to see any use for this function.
Can you remove it, pretty please?!

I use it - some of my posts can be quite long in response to a question, or if composing a FAQ, or advert. Sometimes if a post has changed it may not matter in context of the thread.
So no ;-)0
