The Help for Heroes (H4H) Challenges Team are excited to announce a brand new challenge for 2012 – the Mexico Cycle Challenge.
Those up for the adventure will cycle the tough and challenging 600km from the Gulf of Mexico to the Pacific Coast.

The route is hard and hot! Firstly you will cycle through tropical farmland and then climb up through dense jungle into cloud-forest at 3000m. Cyclists then cross the Sierra Madre mountain range on small roads and pot-holed tracks through pine forest until finally descending out of the mountains to the Pacific Ocean. There are some long and very hard climbs when crossing the mountains, which are compensated for by long, exhilarating descents! The route will take participants through many remote, traditional Indian villages and colonial towns, and ends on a fabulous beach beside the Pacific Ocean.
