What kind of bike?
Not much in Dumfries. Ae bikes may be able to get Trek or Specialised demos.
Break pad at Kirry is your best bet.
Castle Douglas cycle or Mark At Next Level bikes also in CD.
MSP in Dalbeattie have some nice Cube and Merida stock
Scotby Cycles and Palace Cycles in Carlisle.
Alpine Bikes in Glasgow, Inners and GT
Cycle wise at Whinlatter.
Keswick Mountain Bikes have a good sale on ATM before moving to new premises
Biketreks and Wheelbase if you fancied a road trip to the Lakes. Check their web site for Orange demo days.
Wheelbase down the road inStaveley and Evans in Kendal
Sad fact of life these days there is usually a £50 or so charge to demo a bike
