Hi all....
I've once done this route and cannot remember the route to well i think it went through kinnerton and then i lose the route and help please...
just wanna spin out and take a break in asda queensferry.

not from wrexham you won't, the line is still open to railway traffic !!
the old railway went from Denbigh through Mold and Padeswood through to the Chester Holyhead line at Saltney. when you drive past Airbus heading into Chester from broughton retail park you can see Bretton Station on the left. Pen-y-Ffordd station is also still there but is now a private house. the best bit for riding is from Tesco in Mold out to Pen-y-Ffordd, i did it as a kid after synthite in Mold stopped using the line for freight only.
you can go from Chester to Queensferry on the old MickleTrafford to Hawarden Bridge line.Veni Vidi cyclo I came I saw I cycled0 -

thats the mickle trafford to hawarden bridge line . goes through Blacon and Saughall past RAF Sealand .

ordnace survey mapping shows this railway route across farmland .
