Today i got apuncture from glass and it is now fixed using a repair kit however do i need to get anew tire and inertube to stop it from happening again?

    Not unless the tyre is damaged. Nothing will stop it happening again if you ride over glass.

    You don't need to replace a tube becuase you had a flat. You've fixed it and it will last many more repairs. Plus it's an extremely low probability that you'll ride over a piece of glass etc again in exactly the same spot.
