I prefer a long sleeve one, probably slightly more aero.

I have a short sleeve version - but arm warmers made of the same material so any penalty is minimal

    Thanks for all your suggestions.
I think i might go for the short sleeve as then you have the option of buying some arm warmers on a colder day :)

  • go for a speedsuit ;)

aye, good idea. last year i always wore short sleeved and went with arm warmers, generally unless it was stupidly hot kept armwarmers on. comfier :)

Shave your arms if worrying about the need to go faster with short sleeves!
Make mine an Italian, with Campagnolo on the side..

I think your skin will still tend to be slower than the material...The only reason to shave your arms would be to cool your arms down under a longsleeve suit!

I have a long sleeved assos skinsuit, fantastic bit of kit but surprisingly i find the sleeves bit cooler than my short sleeved ones. Probably all to do with the wicking effect.

I don't shave my arms, because I'm sure I couldn't do it without crashing.

Try doing your legs..the b*ggers won't stop moving and the downhills aren't long enough :D

Seriously, am I going to get laughed off the track with my hairy limbs at my first race on Saturday?
Debating whether to have a hair removing exercise this afternoon or not.

To answer the OP, I prefer the long sleeve version, the short sleeves never feel quite right around my humungous (not) biceps :D
