Knee pads

Hi all,
Can anyone recommend knee pads for general trail use which are OK to wear all day and a bit compact? I know that the 661 Kyle Straights are like this but I have had trouble getting some as they are between years. Anything similar?

I'd check out G-Form pads, you forget you're wearing them (assuming you size up from their suggested size, otherwise you'll likely get pins and needles otherwise...). You can just bung them in the wash with your other kit at 40c after a ride to so no need to wear humming pads in future. I've not crashed on mine (yet) but from reviews and other people's posts it seems they offer good protection.0

Kyle Straights are cheap, simple and relatively light. Just don't wash them with detergent as apparently it will give you a rash.
I do find they slip a bit now after a pedalling up hill and keep having to hike them up. For some reason only the left knee.
Had them for some time and wear them almost always on the bike. Keeps the knees warm at least.0 -
+1 for Fox Launch Pro. Excellent bits of kit.0
