Gusset Splink Chain HELP!!

Hey guys,
Just bought a new chain, Gusset Splink half link chain. Its all good, got the chain to the right length however it came with a threaded master pin, now I'm pretty oldskool so don't have a clue with this...??? I used to just push a pin half out then back in once the chain was joined. Any help on how these work would be AMAZING!! Cheers
