Are Maxxis High Roller 2.1 narrow?

Hi, was looking at buying some High Roller 2.1 and saw plenty of posts online about them coming up narrow. Then saw posts that more recent tyres were sized correctly. Can anyone shed some light on this?

More recent Maxxis models are sized better- in general, with Maxxis, if a tyre comes in a 2.35 model, it'll be sized wrong, if it comes in a 2.25 it'll be more or less right.

If you want a 2.1 Highroller you need to buy a 2.35... But, they're also fairly different tyres, the 2.1 is more of an old-school XC tyre, the 2.35 is a pretty sticky harder use trail tyre.

I ran a 2.1 high roller for a little while and it looked a similar width to other 2.1 tyres I've used.
