I decided to take the long way home tonight (18 miles rather than 12) and it brings me back into the village down this lane:

Well.... I'm struggling down here in the wind (which REALLY picked up just as I left... I was hitting high 20s with no effort when it was behind me) and a car comes up behind me.

Now you can see that there's no way it can get past unless I pull over...

Guess who didn't pull over for fecking ages? ;) (I also made a point of playing with the helmet cam in case he got any silly ideas...)

    on a serious note, it may have been a resident who lives up that road, or the farmer that owns it maybe? Have a road like that near me, and it is in fact a private road owned by the farmer. So doffing ones hat to the local lord may be in order! LOL

    There are no houses on that stretch, it's used as a rat run by lots of people getting between Kegworth and Long Eaton. I can promise you that there is no way he should've been driving down there
