Hi,

Ive just bought a 705 and I can't seem to get a route I've planned to load on the 705. I've worked the route out on Bike Route Toaster, I plugged in my 705 loaded My Garmin Connect then tried to upload the route from Toaster after a few seconds it says website not found, the route is still in my saved my courses but not on the 705 :x

A BIG Help required :)

  • You don't need to go via Garmin Connect. Once you've plotted your route, click on the summary tab in Toaster. You'll then see the option to load to Garmin. Suggest loading as tcx. This will then open Garmin communicator (you may need to install this plug-in). Simples!

  • Thanks..........ArgHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH loaded the comunicator did exactly as you said ...... a few seconds later The page cannot be found...... I've no hair left on my head time to start on the legs :?
  • From memory, it should have asked if you want to install it. Maybe Google it, and manually install?

  • I've installed everything but it keeps saying website not found. Maybe Im doing the route wrong
  • Try going http://www8.garmin.com/products/communicator/ to check whether Communicator is loaded properly.

Unlikely. More likely that Garmin communicator isn't installed correctly. Might be worth uninstalling, and reinstalling
