Dolce Sport - 2011 or 2012?

I'm buying my first road bike, and I was pretty settled on the Specialized Dolce Sport, when I noticed that the 2011 model has a tiagra rear derailleur, but the 2012 has the full sora groupset. The real sting for me is that I can buy the 2011 much, much cheaper... has anyone got any advice? Is the sora groupset on the 2012 bike better than the sora/tiagra package on the 2011? Have they made other modifications to the 2012 that make it better, despite having the sora derailleur? Any thoughts much appreciated, I'm driving myself nuts.

Tiagra is better than Sora, save some money go for the 2011 version.

Rear mech will make minimal/no difference.
