The housemates Mrs. is making a chicken and sweet potato thai curry. She made it once before, so we're making her make it again as it was good.It takes as much courage to have tried and failed as it does to have tried and succeeded.

Home made chilli.. frozen and containerised from my epic "@n@l mutiny" recipe that consists of:
1Kg extra lean mince
Mixed herbs
1 can kidney beans in chilli sauce
1 can of chopped tomatoes with herbs
25Gr of finely chopped ghost chilli
Two large Scotch Bonnet chillis cut into strips
4 tablespoons of precut jalapeño chillis
Half a medium red onion fine chopped
2 tablespoons of Dave's Insanity Sauce for added "bite"
Slow cook for 5 hours
Serve on a bed of rice..
It's good, but OMFG I cannot feel my tongue, gums or tonsils0 -

Have you tried adding some chocolate to it, that adds a whole new sweet taste. lully0 -
I had a fridge emptier special... whatever is in the fridge is fair game:-
Courgettes
Organic peppers (the odd shaped long ones that actually taste of something, not the watery bell shaped ones)
spring beans
mange toute
mini sweetcorn
spring onions
mushrooms
tomatoes
ham
Stir fried with olive oil
Boil up some wholemeal pasta and add (including the water) to the above with tomato paste and dried chillies and as I was having a crafty glass of red I sloshed in a bit of that to then cooked it all down until it makes a rich sauce...
Yum tasty and very good for you0 -

Parents went to the Caribbean for their anniversary and brought me back some super hot sauce, so stuck a fair bit of it in a chilli last night, big mistake! The gf couldn't get past the 2nd mouthful and I'm regretting it today! Oh well, you live and learn. Think she'll be wanting something a little milder tonight. Maybe lamb chops if I get to the butchers before he closes!Custom spec Scott Scale
