Has anyone heard of A:xus Bikes?

Hi,
this is my first post and I have only been cycling for 8 months.
I bought a Bianchi Via Nirone C2C with 105/ultegra compact with Alu frame, which has been great and I love it.
I am now entered into the Fred Whitton in May and the Marmotte in July, and am starting to wonder if I need a new set of wheels, maybe with a carbon frame to see me round.
I came across these bikes and they look lovely but all I can find of them online is their german main site and the UK importers website which only has mobile phone contact no's.

I have not phoned yet as they will obviously just tell me they are great bikes, so wanted to see if anyone else has heard of them.
Any tips on what I should look out for when buying a relatively unknown brand?

Thanks,
just wasn't sue if it was too heavy, but I am aiming to lose 2 stone between now and July, which will no doubt make much more difference.
The wheels I have at the moment are Shimano R500, any suggestions for upgrading if I go that route?0
