Genesis Core hardtail stolen

My son's christmas present, a 17 inch Genesis Core, was stolen on 23rd January from Tiddington Road, Stratford upon Avon, Warwickshire. It was locked to railings on a very busy road where lots of children lock their bikes on the way to school. His friend's BMX was also stolen at the same time but they left my daughter's old Trek alone. It is matt black with green lettering. Genesis are not a massively common make so if you see one for sale anywhere please let me know. I suspect it will stay in the Midlands though. He is absolutely gutted, as am I.
