Cheap accomodation near coed y brenin?

Hey, im looking to whizz over to Coed y Brenin and get some riding in next month, can anyone recommend a good place to stay?

    Try some B&B's in Barmouth, that's where we stayed and town has a curry house :-) also only 10mins drive to trail centre

    There's a few bunkhouses and B&B in nearby Dolgellau too. If you do a search you'll find a few threads about it in here (one of 'em was by me in the same dilemma).

    Stayed in this one: http://www.snowdonia-wales.net/acc/bunk/torrent.asp and had no complaints at all, it was great.

    I've stayed at Cae Gwyn Farm a couple of times. It's £7 per person per night for camping and they have toilets / hot showers and bike washing (a hose!). They also have a bunkhouse which is about £12 pppn I think.

    It's a 10 minute ride from the trail centre. If you're heading North towards CYB you go past the entrance to the trail centre and head up the hill. It's about a mile up the road on the left hand side. I don't think you'll get anywhere closer.

    The owner is very friendly and will take you up to the local (5 miles away) pub in the evening for £1 petrol money. Can't say fairer than that!
