Anyone know anything about these? Got one as a freebie yesterday and would like to use it on my Santa Cruz (when it's finally done  ). Stick this on the front and *what* on the back? Are they fairly fast rolling?
Done a quick hunt on the web but I can't find much on them :?

I have a pair on my Junkyard dog bike, grip like hell but slow ish i'm affraid
i used to swear by them before i realised going fast was more fun0 -
Fair enough - they actually sound ok for me then! I much prefer my tyres to grip than be fast rolling (this is the girl who has ridden every xc race with a 2.35 minion and high roller on her bike ) 8)
At least it's narrower! Might use it then, with a cinder or something on the backLife is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....

They're alright... If it's a stick-e one, it'll be slow. Don't really know what they're for tbh, they're just like a Nevegal only less good but since you already have it, why not eh.Uncompromising extremist0

I run them and they are pretty much as people have described. They are gripper than the nevs, but are poor on any kind of hard pack. I'm probably not going to buy them again. Not as good as Nevs and reckon something like a spesh captain might go better for my needs anyway.
I would run them backwards to improve rolling0 -
I assume it'll depend on the size/flavour that you have.
I had a set of the cheap 2.35s, they looked huge and gripped admirably well; however they dragged like a swine and I found them irritating unless I had gravity assistance. What We Achieve In Life, Echoes In Eternity0 -
used to run them on my santacruz. they were ok
suffered alot of pinch flats so i swapped them for maxxis ardent, think the ardent is a better tyre.www.bearbackbiking.com

Used to run the 2.35 versions never had any issues with them in fact one of my favourite tyres in 2.35 for xc work0
-
I have 2.1 stick-e JT specials. Kenda's are big anyway, so 2.35 is going to be like a tractor tyre.0

And your a mountian biker, of course you want a tractor tyre, unless you ride like a girl :P0

Oy - what's wrong with riding like a girl then eh??! :twisted:Life is not measured by the number of breaths you take, but by the number of moments that take your breath away....
